Laniakea @ Mjejane Private Game Reserve

Laniakea is a wood, thatch and glass bush lodge on the banks of the Crocodile River in Mjejane Game Reserve, looking across to Kruger National Park. Four stand-alone en-suite bedrooms are linked by a decked walkway through the bush, so every room has its own privacy, and the main lodge brings everyone together in an open-plan lounge, dining area and kitchen under a high thatch roof.

Spend your days on the covered deck with its hammock and plunge pool, and your evenings around the boma fire as elephants come down to the river. More than 340 bird species have been recorded in the area, which makes Laniakea a favourite with birders and Big 5 lovers alike. The lodge runs on solar power with gas geysers, and cleaning is included daily.
